Commissioned design and production for author and wellness writing instructor Earl Spencer, inspired by his debut book, Rhythm of the Word: Lyrics, Poetry and Prose. We developed literature-inspired, retail-ready merchandise that feels like an extension of Spencer’s writing practice, not just promotional material. The collection started with branded stress balls. The 52-card wellness writing deck is a handheld version of the book, a writing workshop you can carry on the go. Each element of the deck echoes Rhythm of the Word. Collaborating with the book’s illustrator, Tomboi.Barbie, we designed a custom font pack inspired by the book's typography. The box design mirrors the book cover. Each deck includes a custom tuck-flap box, prompt cards with examples written by the author, and a sheer black drawstring pouch designed for travel and daily use.
